Marcia Clark Event
A sold-out crowd of nearly 350 people filled the Huntington Beach Central Library theater to hear author and former LA City prosecutor Marcia Clark talk about her career from the notorious O.J. Simpson murder trial up to her latest book, a courtroom thriller titled Blood Defense. Despite her late arrival, Clark received an enthusiastic response from the crowd as she and moderator, Chris Epting, revisited her early career and the twist and turns that took her from the courtroom to the best-seller lists. Questions from the attendees were written down before the program, and Clark answered those in unequivocal fashion as well. The program ended with the audience rising to their feet in applause. Clark stayed long afterwards to autograph her books for all who had purchased them while waiting for the program to begin.
